I took the LPN- NLN entrance exam for my school and I was schocked that I passed. First of all I just took it to see what it was about because in all honesty I really want to get into the RN Program. Well now I am totally confused, because I can start the LPN program next fall and if I want to get into the RN Program I have 2 more classes to take during the spring and then I apply to the RN program and I'll probably get in during the spring of 07 !!!
In my school they offer the LPN to RN program "fast track" which I can take immediately after completing the LPN Program. What would you guys do? Do the LPN to RN or just wait and get in the program directly in Spring of 2007? Thanks in advance for your responses. I need to make up my mind soon....... :uhoh21: :uhoh21: :uhoh21:

Sounds like the LPN to RN route will get out out in 2008 and the RN route in 2009. I would take the LPN to RN route myself and save a lot of time and money, as the end result will be the same.
Good lucK!
thanks for responding!! thats how I feel myself, and I have also been searching around here and I see that you can do an LPN to RN route online as well, although I probably won't consider that because I need to have that classroom/professor interaction.
I am going to mull this over a little more, the acceptance letters will be mailed out this month, but I think I will do the LPN first. A nurse is nurse
