Hi all,
I am trying to update our Infection Control Policy and i'm trying to find out if it's true that disposable plastic aprons worn by nurses may increase the risk of patients contracting an infection. Any thoughts...
Many thanks.

Well it seems that the increased risk comes from not using the aprons as intended. If you are doing something that requires one put one on, then when finished with that task, take it off.
