what are your plans for SPRING BREAK!

Published

I'm now on spring break and was wonder what others are doing. I'm doing all the things that I don't do during the semester. Sleeping, spoiling my family and shopping. Loving every minute of it. Oh yes, I've also checked the syllabus and am reading too!

I need more time....

Hope you are enjoying or about to enjoy your spring break!

Enjoy what ever makes you happy-- anytime you can even if it's for a moment.

Just received my HAP I grade, got a B which is what I said I would be happy with when the quarter started. My school has a 40% drop/fail rate for the class. I am getting a jump start on Anatomy and Physiology 2 for next quarter. The hubby and I are headed to Bristol next weekend for the Busch and Nascar race, so I can study during the drive down and back. I'm shooting for an A next quarter.

I am in the D. R as we speak. Dominican Republic that is . I love it no school , no papers . It could not get any better

Hope you guys have a great Spring break

Bye

RNKitty, I'm so sorry about the loss of your mother.

I lost my mother very unexpectedly just after classes started in September, and had to take time off to fly to Cincinnati to deal with all of her affairs and her business. It was very shocking and emotional time. I don't feel I ever got the chance to grieve for her as I should have. I hope you can take some time just for yourself to do that.

I know my mother would be very proud of what I've accomplished so far, but I am so sad I cannot share my acceptance to nursing school with her. She was only 61, and had been ill off and on for years, but had just gotten a clean (relatively) bill of health.

Please send me a PM if you'd like to talk or just need an ear. I know it has helped to talk to people about my grief. The only plus that came out of it was it brought our family closer together. Even my father came to her funeral, and they'd gone through a bitter divorce more than 25 years ago. It has also brought my sister and brother and I closer. We just spoke so rarely, but we've decided we need to change that, and have.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss. ((((HUGS))))
