I failed my NCLEX exam last week. I am having motivation issues, and looking for someone to study with. I graduated with BSN March 2008. I do not know what to do now. Need help!
hi melai12, yes I am reviewing for RN. Email me if you are interested in joining me, [email protected]
Im planning to take it on dec. Anyone here using kaplan online?? Im planning to enroll just want to know if its worth it.. thanks. good luck to all of us!
i took the actual class, not the online one.
If your basic nursing foundation is good, Kaplan will be good to you. If you're kinda weak and you need review of the information...uhhh not so good.
Kaplan expects you to know your stuff from the get go so you can get down to the nitty gritty stuff quickly and teach you different styles of how to read a question and how to prioritize.
the questions are harder than the actual NCLEX in the sense that the questions in Kaplan are really wordy. (sumone explained to me that they make it really hard so come NCLEX time, you'll be at ease or sumthin?)
Tons of Question Banks online so that's good.
If you're ever looking for like the closest NCLEX type questions though, I would have to say LearningEXT...this coming from a 2 time nclex taker.
@Str8balln its my second time too. The 1st one i just did self review using saunders book for 2 mos. Stop at 265 got home and tried pvt went to cc page.. horrible experience.. i just took ot recently last week of aug..
Yes. I also took mine this august. felt really hopeless and down when i saw that they were takin my credit card information. kept on searching in this website if there's anyway that the PVT trick is not real... i was in denial....again.
at least you reached 265. In my understanding, the more questions ur getting meant that the computer still cant make a decision if you're a good and safe nurse or not. reaching 265 meant that you were passing at some point.
my first was 160. then 110
