Phew, after a very happy and proud cry, I loved it and even recognized a few faces!
I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and my first 12 years as a nurse were in and around Ptown. So I'm very proud to know the "homies" started it:D. On another personal note while I was in nursing school 71-72 my mother was diagnosed and treated at that hospital for breast cancer and was a survivor, for years she volunteered and visited new post ops while they were still in the hospital. She was truly a survivor and lived for another 30 years, passing from "old age" and not cancer!
Very inspirational and thanks for posting it.
