Oh please update us on this! I will be on orientation on March 26 2010. I saw the testing fee and i immediately had a nervous feeling as i have forgotten alot of my past lectures . Also saw that is a 9 hour long session so it could be from the materials they are gonna go over that day. I was so freaked out that I Googled "pima orientation" and got me to this page.
This is secondhand information from a 2nd semester nursing student (so please dont take my word for it, although it makes perfect sense) The testing fee is for a drug test. Supposedly, you leave in the middle of the orientation in order to preform a drug test in the lab. If you are on any controlled substances you should bring your prescription and a note from your Dr. I thought it may be for the HESI but she said that they did it as a group in the library. I still plan on brushing up on my Chem and A&P just in case :) I was thinking of starting a thread in the AZ nursing program discussions for us..would anyone be interested, this one is hard to find! Look forward to meeting you all!!!

I'm on the waiting list at PCC. I'm set to start Spring 2012. What is the testing fee for? What test is it? I would love to know what kinds of things to be fresh on when it is my turn. How long were you all on the list? Can you tell I'm anxious?
Hi Staragate, I will be starting PCC Ns in Spring 2012 too. I'm also just too anxious about everything. But don't like the waiting period. 2 more years????

Hi,
I also have orientation on the 26th and was wondering about the "test?" Thanks for posting the info you have heard. Also, did you receive info on the 1st semester syllabus? If so, I would love to look at it as well. It appears there are several of us on allnurses starting in the Fall. Should be exciting!
Thanks for sharing what you have learned thus far :))

Hi,
I've decided to joined this forum because it has helped me out a lot in the past. So this is my first post.
I will start the nursing program this Fall010. I just received a letter about attending orientation. There is a a testing fee that needs to be pay before the orientation date. I would like to know if Pima administers a test during orientation day?
Thank you
