Same, the job hunt has been hard so thinking of attending hiring events as well. I did get to email with a recruiter at St Francis and they recommended applying for new grad positions online since there may not be an opening for a new grad position at the job fair, but doesn't hurt to go and try 🙂

Yea why not! Get ypur experience and go to the hospital of ypur choice. The nurses are nice there

Do they have specialties hiring like L&D? Or only med surg?

My friend got hired on the spot for L&D . Which I wanted to go but no hiring when I went. But they do have NICU . They hire new grad. I'm hoping if u go this Wed. They still have it

Appreciate it. Their flyer shows that it's happening on Feb 12th & 26th. I will go and check it out

I tried applying to the L&D unit yesterday and got an email today from the talent acquisition that sadly L&D finished hiring new grads last month and the next time to apply would be until June/July 😞 She said if I wanted to apply online I had to look for the ones that said "new grad friendly" but I did and saw none so I am going to go to the job fair on the 12th to see what units are hiring, if they are even still hiring

For those who were interviewed at PIH Whittier, have you guys received any decision updates yet? I was told by last Thursday/Friday. I called HR, but they didn't really help.

I had my interview a week ago and was told I'd have an answer by Friday and still nothing. Anxiously waiting for a call and hoping I don't get an email 😬

Did you call HR or anyone for updates? I am having difficulty reaching anyone.

Update: I got the offer phone call today. Pending offer letter and email.
