Run away far away, I worked there for one year though agency, it's a very small country hospital with backwoods nurses ( not all of them). if you want to work there my best advice is going PRN. their ICU is a joke, i never seen hospice or DNR's in ICU but you will see them there, I worked in just about every area but L&D, if your an Rn i would go to the main hospital in atlanta, the commute is worth it, you don't want to put your license in harms way, cause they sure will!

Actually I did my clinical rotation for L&D at Atlanta Piedmont. Run, don't walk away from that one too. "physician-run" they brag about on their website (not good for nurses) and catty, nasty nurses that continually bash you behind your back. In my case, those same nurses managed to do a lot of harm during my clinicals and got me kicked out without basis. I almost sued my school for letting them and them for slander. But it was in the final 7 weeks and I needed to graduate!
Good luck in your decision!

Anyone here work for or ever worked for Piedmont Newnan Hospital? I'm considering moving to a job closer to home. Anyone have an opinion they would like to share?
