Piedmont New Grad Residency 2017

Published

Hello everyone,

I recently interviewed for the Piedmont residency program and was wondering if anyone else applied or interviewed for a position. I haven't seen any recent post from this year and I'm interested to hear others thoughts on the program.

Sorry for the delay. I thought I responded already lol. So it's actually been over two weeks now. I applied on the 4th was contacted on the 5th and interviewed on the 9th. I've only applied to Grady so far. I'm extremely late in the game with the application process but still keeping hope alive.

Hello everyone,

This is my first time ever posting . I got offered a job for the residency program at Piedmont Fayette and will start in March. I plan on sitting for boards mid-February . So good luck to all of you and i am positive you will get the job.

Congratulations!!! Thanks for your positivity and good luck on boards!!

I'm relocating from Iowa, but I just so happened to be visiting my family in Savannah, GA when my interview was set up. The recruiter was really nice and seemed pretty flexible with the scheduling. I'm sure they understand if you're traveling a great distance.

Wow; I certainly hope they contact me because I plan to apply the day they open it up in February for the Summer session. Where did you do your preceptorship and thanks for sharing?

Have you received any feedback from Grady because I understand they have a sign on bonus, as well offer loan repayment. At this point I'm trying to gather as much info as possible. Did you consider applying to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, they are also offering a sign on bonus? My friend worked there and loved it before moving back to Michigan.

Sorry of the delay. They contacted me via phone last week and I wasn't selected unfortunately.

I was offered a position in the Cardiac PCU today contingent on if I can get my license endorsed in GA by the deadline. Best of luck to all!

I applied in December, got a call from the recruiter in January, and had the interview scheduled for February. I interviewed Thursday and was contacted the next day with an offer. I applied to Piedmont and Grady. I was contacted about interviewing for Grady but I am accepting the offer at Piedmont instead.

Thank you so much!! You're definitely right
