Piedmont New Grad Residency 2017

Published

Hello everyone,

I recently interviewed for the Piedmont residency program and was wondering if anyone else applied or interviewed for a position. I haven't seen any recent post from this year and I'm interested to hear others thoughts on the program.

@jazzyRN ...Did you interview for the Spring or Summer Residency? I'm extremely interested and will graduate in May with my BSN then will relocate from New Orleans.

I interviewed for the spring. I'm still waiting and hoping to hear something soon.

I have an interview in February for the cardiac pcu

Cool! I interviewed for Cardiac PCU as well. It's been over a week though and was told I should hear something soon either way, but I'm so nervous. Good luck on your interview the panel was really nice. Are you from the Atlanta area? I'll be relocating to that area and I don't really know anyone there.

Praying for good news to come soon! Do you mind sharing the day you interviewed to give an idea of the response time for hearing something? Did you apply for other new grad positions? Thanks for sharing!

What state are you relocating from I'll be moving from New Orleans in May to the area? How flexible were they with you for traveling in to interview; often 14 days needed to get the best flight deals. í ½í¸Š

I'm relocating from Iowa, but I just so happened to be visiting my family in Savannah, GA when my interview was set up. The recruiter was really nice and seemed pretty flexible with the scheduling. I'm sure they understand if you're traveling a great distance.

I'm also relocating from South Florida but I do have a few friends in Atlanta. I'm quite nervous but I hope it goes well.

Hello everyone,

Good luck. Be calm and confident. You got this. You went through nursing school and believe me its the hardest part. Again good luck to you.
