How are some of you getting your personal pics as your icons?
I tried but it wouldn't accept mine. Maybe it was too big...?
Thanks, Alyssa

Dianne, do you have any photo editing software? Like the one a pic open up to when you scan or upload a pic?
If you do, you could just open it in there, attempt to re-save it, only use the drop down menu where it says ".bmp file" and drop it down to a .jpg. Then save it as that.

Heather: I'm really not sure, I'm not really computer literate....but, I do know I can scan, save, send as JPEG, add to my emails and such. I went to edit my profile and wasn't sure if I could do it from there. Any help for this "non-computer geek" would be much apprecitated!

Thank you, you two, for the compliments.
And, I was gonna suggest Heather - our patron saint of avatars - to help guide you on your picture journey. However, she beat me to it!

Allright Dianne... here goes...
Click "user cp"
Click "edit options"
Scroll down to bottom and click "change avatar"
Scroll down to bottom and click "browse" to search your computer for the image you want to use. (make sure you have resized it to 100x100 pixels or less)
Then, most important, make sure you click the little "yes" box that appears right by where you clicked "browse"
Then click at the bottom where it says "submit changes" or whatever it says.
That should do it for ya!
