Physiology Degree-Masters

I would like to get my degree in Physiology in the Future after i get my BSN..

I would also like to get my Masters in Nursing as well

Ive heard nursing is pretty intensive in terms of Physiology and I LOVE Physiology and find how the human body works extremely intriguing

what do you guys think of this?

there are programs out there to get your Bachelors in Physiology but i dont think any of them are in Southern CA.. i could be wrong though

What are your career goals? I would not suggest getting a physiology degree in addition to a BSN, especially if you plan to go to grad school.

If you would be doing this for the personal satisfaction and knowledge, go for it! However, a degree in physiology will not benefit you professionally as an RN. The only reason I would encourage anyone (nurse) to get a degree outside of nursing is if s/he wants to use the degree to get out of nursing.
