PHSC 2018 Spring Nursing Hopefuls

Hi!

Looking for other students who are applying at Pasco-Hernando State College for Spring 2018.

What is your pre-req GPA and your teas? Are you in county? I hope my composite score is good enough! (If you don't know how to come up with your composite score it's (Pre-req GPA/4 x .45 x 100) + (Teas x .5) + (Add 5 only if you are a Pasco or Hernando resident.) )

My GPA is 3.8

My Teas is 78

I'm in county.

Composite: 86.75%

I can't believe applications start this month! I'm excited/nervous!

I applied to the transition program last week. My grades aren't the best but I figured why not just try. The time will pass anyways!

Someone on here posted last week they were going to apply to transition. Not sure if they did though. I am applying to regular ADN.

Hey just an update,

i am applying for the transition lpn to RN program

GPA 3.65

Teas 77.3

And I am a pasco resident

my composite score is 84.71

Has anyone heard of a specific date that we're supposed to get a letter knowing whether or not we got in? All I've heard is sometime around when LPN applications start. Just curious to see if anyone has any more information than me. Thanks!

Hi everyone!

I applied for Spring 2018 as well for both campuses. My prerequisite GPA stands at a 3.8 and my TEAS scores are 73.3! I do not live in pasco county.

Does anyone know if we are supposed to receive an email when they have received our application packets and when they are in the process of reviewing them?

I think we're supposed to get an acknowledgement letter in the mail within the next week or so saying they got our application.
