PHSC 2018 Spring Nursing Hopefuls

Published

Hi!

Looking for other students who are applying at Pasco-Hernando State College for Spring 2018.

What is your pre-req GPA and your teas? Are you in county? I hope my composite score is good enough! (If you don't know how to come up with your composite score it's (Pre-req GPA/4 x .45 x 100) + (Teas x .5) + (Add 5 only if you are a Pasco or Hernando resident.) )

My GPA is 3.8

My Teas is 78

I'm in county.

Composite: 86.75%

I can't believe applications start this month! I'm excited/nervous!

Buy the practice tests off of ATI. They really helped me a lot. I also used Mometrix Book and Kaplan ATI Teas Strategies book. Good luck!

Hello

I'm a little late on this but maybe someone will be able to help. I have been trying to see how PHSC nursing program schedule is, do they offer only morning or night classes. I have tried searching but so far no luck.

Classes are three days a week. Morning only. You do not get to choose your schedule or your clinical days. Theory/Lecture class is one day a week 5-6 hour day, and Lab/Clinicals are two days a week 8 hour days.

Hey so I have been really stressed out about whether or not I will be accepted into the PHSC RN program for spring 2019 I received a 82.7% on my Teas Although my GPA I'm not quite sure what it may have been due to the fact that I took AP psych in HS. I only had five pre reqs to rely on but I got As and Bs so idk I'm super nervous !!! especially since its close to acceptance letter time

Wondering if anyone is viewing this forum, but applying in the Spring 2019 for the Fall start.

Mine stats:

(Pre-req GPA/4 x .45 x 100) + (Teas x .5) +5 (in-county only)

3.08/4 x .45 x 100) + (60 x .5) +5 = 69.65

Also, how does this work when you don't get in but apply to LPN as well? Do you automatically get in to RN if you have the LPN? Is it less time to obtain the RN?

Thanks.

Hey I applied to the Fall with a 3.36 GPA and a 76.7 Teas score . If I don’t get in I am going to retake the teas and reapply in the fall for the spring term .
