Specializes in Pediatric Emergency Nursing.

I applied for both, but Porter would definitely be the better option. But I'm going to be hearing from HCC and Polk State before PHSC lets us know, so if I get in one of those, I'm just gonna stick with it! I've been trying for 2 years! It's crazy.

I have a 3.14 pre-req GPA and got a 73 on my TEAS test.

I also live in county.

Im super nervous but I wish you all the best of luck!! :)

Don't even stress it'll eventually happen. I applied last year. Didn't get in by .2 points. That's 0.2 points. I was pissed.

Ok running list!

How did you find out you were only 0.2 points away? That would be nice for me to know to see if I should even keep bothering to spend the $50 application fees.

It was at palm beach state. They kept all your points online. And sent out an email saying the cut off was 47.8

i had 47.6

Oh ok. Wow. I would've been pissed too!

Yes, that is what everyone keeps saying!

Keep trying even if you get discouraged. :)

Say you already took A&P 2 and lab but its in the first semester course list, do they make you retake it? Is it a difference in curriculum?

I'm not gonna let anything get me down, that's why I'm still fighting to get in somewhere :)

As for the A&P 2 situation, I don't think they would make you retake it. If so, I've already taken it twice, so going for 3 would suck!

Applied at Porter and West for RN Generic track.
