PHSC Nursing Hopefuls FALL 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I would love to get ideas on how everyone is feeling and just get a group of people together like myself . I have two more classes before applying to the program , A&P 1 and Micro 1 I am applying forNursing Program May 2018. Has anyone taken these pre req yet? and have you taken TEAS? I would love for this forum to maybe open a door for life long friendships.

Are you applying for traditional or LPN transitional program?

I'm going for the Generic, 4 semester long associates program for people with no prior healthcare related experience. Apparently the number of seats for the fall term went up from 24 to 32 since PHSC's website updated. I hope that improves my chances at acceptance.

Hi.

i am applying in a week or so to West.

I have a 4.0 GPA and a 76% for TEAS.

Planned to retake it but life got in the way. I am also a resident. Will apply for both RN and the bridge program.

Good luck Everyone.

Are you already an lpn?

Hi all! I'll be applying to West campus for Fall 2018 for the bridge program.

GPA - 3.0 TEAS - 78.7% and I'm a resident.

Composite score - 78.1 (if I'm calculating that correctly)

I haven't decided if I should retake the TEAS or not to boost my composite score.

Good luck to everyone!

Update. I turned in my nursing school application the other day, and my composite score has not changed since i last posted. Good luck everyone!

I got in!!! Got the email a few days ago. Starting on West Campus in the fall.... woohoooo :)

Congratulations!! Did you get into the RN program or the LPN-RN Bridge. I'm worried now because I thought for the bridge we had until 5/30/18 to submit Applications. TIA

Hi, I got into the RN program.

G.

I was hoping someone could totally help me with a noob/I don't know anything about college questions lol.... Current LPN finally beginning the pre req process to bridge at phsc.....at a snails pace I might add.....if I was to get accepted into nursing program can you take the nursing classes one class at a time? or do you have to do multiple classes? if not would I have to reapply to the program every year?....thanks in advance!

Can anyone tell me the hours of the Nursing (generic) program? I'm unable to locate it online. Is there an evening or day program? Regards

Update. I was accepted into the program! Now I'm stressing out trying to get all my blood work, vaccines, and records to the nursing department before June 11.
