Have you thought about Arizona State University or Grand Canyon? These schools are grade based, NOT waiting list based, so you could technically get in on the first application. I'm in the ASU program. I had to apply 3 times (kept trying to raise my GPA) but still got in much much faster than almost any other school in the area. OF course the cost is much higher however you graduate w/your BSN and avoifing the wait was definitely worth it.
Chamberlain College of Nursing. BSN 3 years accelerated. Pricey. But quick.
Oh and BTW... anytime you call a program they tell you the same thing, lots of applications... blah blah...you have to make an effort with to navaigate around the person answering the phone. Nuring programs can be complicated to a fault. For most you have to go down to an information session, especially with Pima before you find out everything, they require you to take some tests and apply. Its point based.
I have heard good things about Grand Canyon University and NAU if you are around that area, but ASU seems to be difficult, not entirely sure....

My wife is tired of being unemployed, she is trying to go to nursing school. But she is intimidated by long list of waiting list here in Mesa. What else we can do? which nursing schools are faster to get in? She doesn't mind to drive at all. Your comments are appreciated.
