Hi everyone! Just thought I would make a forum for those going to Mt Sinai's ABSN in Fall of 2018. I am so excited to get going and meet everyone!

I have been accepted for Fall 2019 cohort as well few weeks ago and paid my deposit but just got my acceptance letter to NYU yesterday and have to decide which school I want to go into.

Would love some insight to those that have done the ABSN at Mount Sinai or currently going through it. They seem very disorganized and difficult to get answers from them a lot which is putting me off and hoping their classes aren't like this.

I also got accepted to Beth Israel and NYU. Have you decided yet which school you will choose? NYU wants $100000 for those 15 months. It's pretty expensive, and their financial aid is so little.

Did you look into any scholarships for both institutions?

Mrs. Gallo recommended Portage Learning. I am finishing up Nutrition online with Portage now.

Thanks ClaudiaJast! Congratulations to you too! Did you put down a deposit for any school yet? I put down a deposit for Mount Sinai because I heard back from them very early and didn't think I would get into NYU.

I still have not decided yet. I am going to the accepted student orientation tomorrow and hoping I'll have a better idea of which school is for me after that. I haven't looked into any scholarships but I heard they are very limited and it's mostly need based which I'm afraid I won't qualify because of my income at my current job even though be jobless in August to go to school.

I wanted to take it at BMCC too, but there is only one nutrition class and already full, even waiting list is full

I am on the same boat as you. I've been accepted to NYU and PSON Fall 2020 and I am contemplating right now on which school to go to. Would you mind sharing your experiences right now with the school you are in?

What made you picked the school you are in right now?
