I wasn't going to do this, but oh well, maybe it will make some part of my brain feel better or what not. Anyway
Has anyone applied or been apcepted to Phillips Beth Isreal School of Nursing in New York? I know of one other person who applied i think, but not sure if anyone else that hangs out here did.
It would be nice to start a support thread or something, and hopefully this won't get burried in cyber space.

Only just skimmed through the things in the kit, but it had stuff like penlights, foley catheters, injection simulators, etc. I guess mainly things we'll be using in the lab. They're supposed to go over everything with us on the first lab day.
Sounds like you had a great summer. Where in Europe did you go?

wow, neeetoe, great things to have to practise with especially those BP's. Some of the people in my class myself included bought our own BP set. Seths are expensive, and everyone has their preference of what they want, what they can afford. My best friend gave me mine as a bday/congrats on NS gift.
Well i went on a 2 week mediterranean cruise, it started in Rome, and went to greece and turkey, naples in italy and back to rome again. It was awsome.
Yep, the kit should have some good things to practice with. I already have my stethoscope and a BP cuff that I bought for a CNA course I took because blood pressure was probably the hardest skill we had to master and I wanted to get in some extra practice time.
Sounds like you had a really nice trip.....I used to live in Italy so I know how beautiful it is over there!

way different from my orientation last year, they decided to do alot of different things this year. Well I plan to pass the boards, and get a job ASAP, lots of loans to pay back and stay as far away from any sort of academic institution for at least one year, cause lord knows i'm sick of school and studying and all that jazz.
