PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!

I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!

So I just called and spoke with Connie as I wanted to confirm she received my email with my completed Candidate Response Form. She went ahead and confirmed that she received my email while we were on the phone, but she said she hasn't been able to go through the rest of her emails yet. She said that once she does, she will respond to your email confirming receipt of same. I also asked her when we would be receiving the packets containing the required admission paperwork and she said once she is able to go through all of the candidate response forms. That being said, I have a feeling we might not be receiving them until after July 10th. Lastly, I asked about campus assignments and she confirmed that we will be assigned to our campus at the orientation. Hope this answers some questions people might be having :)

I called a few minutes ago with the same questions...lol.

I also talked to Nancy in the nursing dept and she said that they will assign campus location by zip code.

BTW - I just received the confirmation email.

I just called. they said all letters will be sent out by the end of the week.

Lol! Great minds think alike :) I know you've probably already said this a million times, but what campus do you hope to be at? I'm hoping for Porter. It's less than 5 minutes from my house :nailbiting:

I'm hoping for west campus since it's closest to me. Nancy said that after they receive all replies they will then assign according to zip code...so it's likely you'll be at porter.

A couple questions:

1) Does anyone know what the schedule was like for the spring 14 porter nursing students?

I currently stay at home with my 14 month old son and I'm going to be putting him in daycare part time while I am in school and really need to get an idea of what days/times so that I can find a daycare and be able to provide them with days/times that I will need them.

2)All my moms and dads out there: is anyone familiar with any of the daycares in the Wesley chapel/new tampa area? I'm super nervous about this transition as he has been home with me since day one and he's super attached to his mommy.

Hi Lesposito - I use Discovery Point in Lexington Oaks, they are WONDERFUL.
