PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!

I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!

Just to clarify, what type of physical are you all getting? The paperwork says a sports or school physical is okay right? I'm so scared I'm going to mess this up :/

Where from if you don't mind me asking? Right now it's looking like I'll be going to a walk in by my house. I can't get a school physical ($20) there because I'm over 18, so I'll be paying $65 for a college physical. I hate not having insurance :(

i went to a walk in clinic in Holiday. its 90.00 for the physical. The tetorifice, ppd and titers are extra.

Thanks for the info ;) this stuff is not cheap! I can't believe they gave us so little time for it all.

i know it is overwhelming. But i was able to get almost everything done in one day. I also did my drug test. All i have left is my background check and i will do that tomorrow.

My insurance wont cover a school physical. So, after calling EVERYWHERE today. I made a appt at the health dept. They are so much cheaper than all the walk ins I called. I get my titers drawn on Monday, and have my physical done on Wed. It is costing me 124.00 for everything. They said it will only take 2-3 days for my titer results to come back. This is so overwhelming!!
