Can you purchase the assigned text for the course and get a headstart with assigned reading? The two pharm books I've used and enjoyed are the following:

My instructor used Richard Lehne's "Pharmacology for Nursing Care." If your instructor plans to use it, I'd urge you to buy it in advance and read it on your own. It's very well written and easy to follow. I bought it ahead of class and found the first couple of exams to be a breeze.

When and where are you taking Pharm??
I am taking it at HCC this summer and I am purchasing the actual book that they require (for the math part of pharm). I also heard a lot of other students that used this same book for reference even if they didnt need it.

Hope this helps.
