Pharmacology & Pathophysiology

Quick question- During a phone conversation with admissions I was told that I have to take Pharmacology 1 & 2, AND Pathophysiology 1 & 2 to be considered for admission into their nursing program. Can anyone tell me please tell me any online ACCREDITED schools that offer these courses?

You may be able to find brick & mortar accredited schools that offer online sections of these courses. The one school that I know has online sections reserves from for people who have declared pre-nursing and have been accepted by the SON as pre-nursing students. At this particular school, it would probably be rather difficult to get into their online sections, but it might be worth calling the appropriate departments at accredited brick & mortar schools near you.

I've contacted couple of university's/schools around me and they either don't offer it, or only offer pharmacology I. That is why I am trying my hardest to find an online program so I can take it anywhere in the US. I saw on 'straightliner online program' they offer pharmacology 1 & 2, but no pathophysiology 1 & 2. Do you know if Chamberlain nursing will accept any credits from this program? (I've emailed but no response), also do you think CRNA schools in the future would accept those credits as well?

I would ask students that are already in the program how they did it, if the school did not give you any reccomendation.

Most major universities offer these classes online. Check with schools in your area for better tuition rates.

So since you mentioned accredited schools, are you concerned specifically about the classes being able to transfer to any school or just Chamberlain? Chamberlain isn't accredited in the sense that you can't just transfer their classes/degrees anywhere, you have to work within their network of for-profit schools or for-profit partner networks. If it just for Chamberlain, then I'd ask them specifically about schools they recommend. As with any for-profit school, proceed with caution.

Pathophysiology is an online class offered by USF University of Saint Francis of Fort Wayne Indiana.
