I'm taking pharma and the math calculations involved are confusing me. I keep going over them but I have a test Wednesday and don't know if I'm anywhere ready for it. any suggestions on it? I must know basic tablet, oral calculations, but also IV & drip rates. there is so much to know. please if anyone is currently or has ever taken pharmacology, give me some suggestions.
Hmmm...I'm reading all these posts and I wonder if my Pharm may have been deficient?! The course I took was a prerequisite for my program, just General Pharmacology.
I didn't have to do any math or drug calculations. Just know what the drugs are for, what interacts with what, the mechanism of action, yyy. (It should be said that my program approved my prerequisite, after having read the syllabus.)
Should I be doing some self-teaching this summer if I get a spot in my program for next fall? Maybe the school is going to assume I know information that I don't, and I'll be behind from the get-go.
If so, can someone recommend a book for me?
Sorry that this is a bit of an aside. Thanks for the help!
