PH grad NY - RN license endorsement to CA - RN

Surprised they looked at your file if you didn't enclose a US SSN. A lot will depend upon date of completing your training

I did put my ssn number in the application, they were asking for a clear photo of the ssn card

You've mentioned that your school did send the transcript/rle/calendar/cases....As I can recall, only the request for transcript and breakdown of educational program for int'l nursing programs were required to be sent. Should I tell the school to include the rle/calendar/cases too, just to avoid delays?

Might as well, but leave the envelope sealed and unopened before mailing them.

Once the original envelope has been opened, the contents would be compromised.

You can thank the previous PH grads and PH nurses who lied and cheated the system that the CA BRN has caught on for years and caused each and every PH application to go under the microscope.

So those that worked so hard for years and put themselves and their families thru hell and back are now paying the stiff penalty from those greedy and selfish PH grads and PH nurses who sold their souls to get the license.

Hi CAendorsement. I'm graduated in Philippines Apr 2010 and I just recently applied to take NY RN license. CGFNS is just waiting for my school to send all the required documents before they send it to NY for them to give me eligibility. I was just wondering If I should start going to school for MS & OB this fall season or just wait to pass the NY NCLEX first and try endorsing here in CA?

I asked this because my coworker was the same case. He was licensed in NY and endorsed it here in CA. According to him they still require him to take MS & OB before they can endorse the RN license to CA.

I don't wanna waste paying for student loan ;coz they might not require me to take those additional MS/OB classes. :/ PLS HELP YALL.

Because CA make their own assessment most have reported same issue when endorsing as if applying as initial applicant

Until CA review your application you will not know if you have to make up these courses.

THANKS. That's what i thought as well. Its funny coz I've been preparing all the requirements for school to take MS & OB. Those are the courses i needed to take accdg to the letter they sent me when i applied eligibility for CA RN license but im not sure if they will still require me to take those subjects if i endorse my future NY RN license to CA. Thanks again for ur opinion

Ended up being required to take OB only. Got invited by Loma Linda for an interview but I already got a job here in NY. I currently work in the ED.

Wont probably be thinking of that endorsement for the mean time.
