  1. Did you apply to NY too?
  2. How long then? I sid a research in rhis forum and majority of nurses here got approved within a month
  3. So CGFNS already sent all my documents to NYSED since April 22 and i've been waiting until now for eligibility. When i called last month the guy told me that it normally takes 6-8 weeks for them to process everything but when I called yesterday the lady said that sometimes it takes longer than that. I'm worried they might not approved me and there might be something wrong with my application. :/ I did a research in this forum and everyone's been saying NYSED gave them eligibility within 1-2 months.
  4. Keep us updated here please.
  5. Congratulations! Yeah i have 900 plus more questions left on uworld & been answering questions since april. And to be honest im not paying attention to scores anymore. I still get 40% sometimes whenever i answer 30 items but im making sure im reading all the rationales. Nclex is random and i just need to do my best.
  6. Did u passed? What's your study plan like?? i dont answer 100q a day and im scared
  7. How often do u study? Im planning to challenge nclex rn in NY too.
  8. Goodluck!!! You finished the whole qbank so i think you should be okay! Some other nurses they only finished 500 qs and still passed. And yes its hard to focus studying if u work full time. I don't even wanna answer questions whenever im at work because there's too much distractions. Thats why i answer atleast 25 to 30qs after work. Goodluck to me
  9. im planning to take it mid august. I used to answer 100 questions a day when i was studying for Nclex PN but I wasn't working at that time. I guess i need to atleast answer 50qs.
  10. THANKS for your reply. Im not doing it system by system because i wanna prepare myself to answer random questions as much as possible. I dont know what's wrong with me but i can only answer maximum 50 questions on my off day and 25 qs whenever i have work. I feel that im slacking because everybody that used uworld answer 75-100 qs a day lol
  11. Hi guys im gonna take my Nclex RN exam probably Mid august and i've been using Uworld as my primary study source. Ive seen a lot of tet takers that passed using It and accdg to them they answer 75-100 questions a day. I currently work as an LVN in a nursing facility full time and on my off days i can only answer maximum 50 questions. I answer 25 qd first, read the rationale then i relax and answer another set of 25s again. Reading the rationales takes me too long coz i write down notes of some things i wanna remember. On work days i only answer 25 qs after work and that's just what works for me. If i do 75-100 qs i get a headache because i have to read the rationales afterwards. Dont get me wrong i have no problem answering lots of qs but i wanna be able to read the explanations for all of em. Are there any nurses here that studied this way????
  12. 'if you want to succeed as much as you want to breathe then you will be successful" that's my mindset towards any obstacles in my life
  13. Ok so i received an e-mail from CGFNS that they already mailed all my documents to NY BON. So how long do i have to wait to received eligibility to take exam? I just can't start studying without actually setting an actual date of exam. And im not even sure if NY will give me eligibility in the first place. Hopefully í ½í¸ƒí ½í¸ƒí ½í¸ƒí ½í¸ƒ
  14. pinoy27 replied to osis's topic in LPN, LVN Corner
Which place you currently working now? Just curious.
  15. I just hope i don't get the same problem. My school just received the verification form from CGFNS and I actually wanted the school to send me the copy of the form so I can fully instruct them what needs to be done before they mail it back to CGFNS. What if the school's registrar who signed your document is not on their system? Coz somebody here said CGFNS representative won't tell you exactly who needs to sign the documents. I understand they don't want the applicant to get involved in the process but It's hard to just let them do all the work especially if they don't follow up your documents the best of their ability. And I don't wanna waste my money either.
