PGH feedback

I graduated on March 2010 and passed the Board Exam on July 2010. I had undergone lots of training related to my profession. I passed the NPE on February 2011 and had my Panel on May of the same year. Now, more than a year had passed and still waiting for the call for final interview. For those who had their final interviews, is it true that final interview is like a formal welcome? Someone told me that but I want to hear from you guys for your experience. I always tell my family and friends that when the time comes that I'm already working as a nurse, I would say that "my life will be normal". While waiting for my final interview, I'm working as a healthcare associate in a call center for almost a year now.

Hi guys! If I may ask, what are the requirements that need to be passed after passing the NPE? I can't go to PGH personally cause my schedule has a conflict. Is there a deadline?

From what I know, there is no deadline but you will just be farther down the list of applicants.

These are the list of requirements according to their own website which DNRD accepted when I submitted my requirements:

 1. Accomplished Dean’s Form Downloadable from PGH Nursing

Services Homepage

*this needs your Dean's signature and school's dry seal. You can download the Dean's Form through this link http://www.pgh.gov.ph/sites/default/files/dnrd_deansfrm4rn_jie2k9.pdf.

 2. Transcript of Records (TOR) Submit one (1) original copy. No

Certified True Copy will be accepted.

 3. Board Rating (with breakdown of

scores) Submit one (1) original copy.

Preferrably the PRC blue copy.

 4. Related Learning Experience

record (RLE) Submit one (1) original copy. No

Certified True Copy will be accepted.

 5. Resume with 2x2 black and white

picture. Scanned photos is acceptable.

 6. Certification from previous

employment, if any Preferrably, clinical nursing or related

employment.

 7. PRC license Provide back to back copy. Present the

original for validation.

 8. PNA membership card Provide back to back copy. Present the

original for validation.

Hi reshin, I'm new in this thread. I'll have my PGH panel interview next week, aug 28...with the instructions given,I have to call a day before the interview date at 10am to verify it... I just want to ask if I really have to call them a day before or is it okay if I'll call them tomorrow instead? Other option,can I just go there personally to verify the interview date? Thank you

Yes you really have to call them a day before to confirm. You don't need to go there personally to confirm because Ms. C will tell you on the phone whether your interview will push through or it will be rescheduled..

Hello thorabeech, thank you for your reply. I just called now, unfortunately, the panel interview was cancelled. Mam *. said that she'll just send me a text message of when it will be rescheduled.I decided to call because aug 27 is declared as holiday.

I really wanted to work at PGH. I think most nurses here would want too.

I just passed the NLE 2012. Lucky me! I want to try my luck here at up-pgh. Should I wait for their announcement on the release of dean's form or go straight to DNET office? thanks for your help. :)

Hi Jio, I did the same thing last August 24. My initial schedule for the panel interview was July 7. I was told then that I had to call them back on August 27 to confirm my schedule. Unfortunately, I was informed that they are still dealing with back logs in the panel interview schedule and that they would just notify us via text message or call when they have finally come up with a schedule. I was very sad when I heard this because it would mean waiting longer just to work at PGH as staff nurse. I guess longer wait time is something that we really have to bear with, it's just that I don't have much time left before I file for my 2nd license renewal again.
