I have been sober for 4+ months but took a shot/a little less than a shot on the 17th of May. I have a PETH testing today which will make it 12 days. Will I be okay? Does anyone have a similar experience? I'm 5'2, 105lbs.
It is your responsibility to have a therapist you see according to your contract (how many times a quarter). In Florida you have to attend 3 AA/NA/or Celebrate Recovery meetings a week. You, your psychiatrist, therapist, and meeting moderator (must attend a group meeting with other IPN participants weekly) must fill out a report for submission quarterly. In Florida your providers have to be affiliated with IPN. You are not allowed to just go to any Psychiatrist or Therapist.

Same is true for Michigan. It has to be their therapist and addiction specialist. Also one Cadeucus meeting a month. Turn in meeting sheets once a month..sponsor sheets turn in every quarter, work site monitor fills out a form every quarter and so does the addiction specialist. It's your responsibility to make sure these people do these. Your sponsor gives the form to you to turn in.
Jamie Lynn said:I am about to finish IPN after a 5-year contract. Take your contract seriously and abstain from drinking. The very last thing you want, or need is a positive test. This will require you to be taken out of work, get another eval and more than likely be put into a PHP or IOP program, and can also result in you having to start your contract over. It is also important to not have a dilute urine. If you need further knowledge on how to avoid this, I will be glad to offer you some tips. A dilute urine will result in immediate testing which usually consists of an observed urine and peth test on the same day. I wish you all the best. Stay strong and carry on!!
Thanks so much. I had 1 dilute because I didn't have enough urine. Good thing they let me go that one time, but never making that mistake again for sure. It's so frustrating I can't even drink on special occasions, when my issue in the first place was a small amount of weed a long long time ago. How often were you getting tested for PETH? I think from what I've been noticing/gathering is approx every 3 months.

Oh I completely agree, trust me when I say have strong feelings for PRN and I'm leaving them the most insane review on Google. Not that it matters or it will do anything because the boards relies on them to give permission for your medical license. It's ridiculous and it's all about money.
Smart Recovery. Another type of recovery in addition to AA, NA, and CR (Celebrate Recovery) that is becoming rapidly popular is Smart Recovery. Smart Recovery is now allowed by about 2/3rds of states and in 5 years, will be allowed in all of them. It's the fastest growing Recovery type in the country, even growing faster than CR. Smart Recovery is Secular (no higher power based) and leans heavy on research, science, and cognitive behavioral therapy. It is not a 12 step type of recovery and is often seen as an alternative to the Big 3 above. It's not just the fastest growing Recovery Type Group in the USA, it's the fastest growing in the world, and for a couple of decades, that title belonged to CR (which is still growing rapidly) but not at the pace of Smart Recovery.

Substance abuse. Yes
Some states like mine allow zoom aa or na meetings. You have to keep a log. For michigan you're looking at weekly group therapy, monthly individual therapy and meeting with an addiction specialist every 3 months. It's rare to find one thar takes insurance. You can't use insurance for drug tests either.
