I am so tired of going to get a lab and the baby's heel looks like this:
Please stack up your "sticks" so there is something left for the rest of us and the poor kids foot doesn't look like a war zone!! :trout:

That top one has some in the no-no zone. It is sad that some nurses dont think/care that they could be effecting this childs ability to walk. Not inlcudig the facgt that I bet it hurts like a you-know-what!!

Ouch, yeah - there are a couple of pokes right on the middle of the heel. Doesn't even look like there was much effort on the poker's part.
Isn't it amazing? I'd like to track down these chuckle heads and their preceptors!

Both the bottom of the heel (what you walk on) and the posterior place where the Achilles tendon attaches to the talus are no-no's!
Perhaps it's time for a little refresher poster, or something! OUCH!
