Is anyone part of personalized health care called MDVIP as a patient or have any insight on this. One of our pulmonary doctors that we see as well as some of my family members is turning to this. He is holding a seminar on this for us and I will obviously find out more information as well. Wondering if paying this annual fee is worth it? Also wondering if any nurses work for a personalized medical provider?

NRSKarenRN,
Thank you however I already looked at their website. Looking for anyone who either participates in or works as a nurse for them to get a personal opinion.

This is also called sometimes called '"concierge" care and basically involves not taking insurance (cash only) so that doctors can spend more time on patients and less on getting paid. This is an area where I believe that NP's can be especially competitive in IP states given our lower cost, and traditional openness to evidence based, holistic, and CAM approaches.
