Hello, I am a new grad:) I am enrolled in the periop 101 program through AORN. I am about to attempt the final exam for the first time on Aug. 31, 2016. Does anyone have any ideas on how to study for this test. It is ALOT of material! I'm not sure where to focus. I do well in the modules. I am going back through and retaking all the quizzes and rereading all the red words through out the module. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I passed my AORN Periop 101 program final exam about a month and a half ago. Focus on the final exam study guide, re-read your modules and use flashcards. I scored a 90% on mine, it's nowhere near as hard as your NCLEX and it's very straight forward. You will do fine as long as you focus on those module summaries. Good luck!
Thank you so much!! I had heard that the questions were a lot like the module questions. So I was redoing all my tests. Do you think I should just focus on the summaries and final exam guide instead, or would you redo the tests and just add in the summaries and exam guide?
Just focus on the module summaries and make flash cards based on them. The whole test is from the summaries, I didn't see any questions based off the module questions.

Hello:
I see you were scheduled to take your exam to day 8/31/2016. Can you please tell me details of how the exam was and how I should go about studying.
Thanks!
I got a95 God is good! I focused on the summaries I made 580 cards from them and memorized them. It sounds like a lot but I had 6 months to do it. The test is from the summariesí ½í¸ You must study but it's doable good luck!!

I am so happy for you!!! That is awesome.
So you would say the questions are STRICTLY from the summaries meaning the FINAL EXAM summaries from each module that have most of the RED markings. Are the questions similar to the questions that are at the end of each module?
