percentage on practice tests - how does it relate to passing NCLEX?

Published

I wish the review books would tell you - if you get X % you're fairly likely to pass NCLEX. If you get Y% you're almost certain to. If you get Z% you got some MAJOR studying to do, honey.

So far none of the books I've looked at say anything like that - do you know of one?

I seem to be running about 80% in Mosby - does anyone know what that would mean?

I doubt any can predict, some have posted on doing well with test questions but fail the actual exam. But I would say if you continually do well you increase your chances

For our shcool in order for the DOn to sign off on paper that were going ot be sent to the BON for our ATT, we had to turn in 3 test that we got 80% or better on she believed if we could do this our chances of passing were about 90%. We were the last class for the 3 test then next class and so on had to turn in 5 test of 80% or better. Our school last I heard had a 95% pass rate.Hope this helps a little.

At our school we do ATI testing. At the end of the program we get a predictor test. Accoring to my score, ATI predicted I have a 99% of passing NCLEX. We'll see how accurate that is as I test tomorrow! EEK! I am not sure of other testing programs.

Good luck and a good night's sleep, Achoo!

I haven't taken the final ATI but the initial one was reassuring, so ... crossing my fingers here as I go through the program.
