I would love to know what others make!! I am in WA state we get:
45 a visit
50 for ROC, ODB, recert (not enough at all for an ROC)
72 for SOC (also not enough)
we get reimbursed 0.45 cents per mile.

Your SOC should be twice your routine visit rate. Or 3 X your hourly rate.
Yes it should be because we often times have to give up 2 regular visits to take 1 SOC and so it's a money loss for us.

Anyone familiar with providing TPN in the home setting? I would be interested in hearing experiences with this. Thank you.
We do it. It's taught the same as any IV medication in the home would be. With the added layers of checking BS. Tho from my experience that is often times added in a week later for whatever reason. Maybe as to not overwhelm the pt. It's a lot of education.

I have found most nurses are not stating they do SOC in 2-2.5 visit equivalents but that seems to be the given.I make 56 for a visit. I will get back to you. We also get holiday differentials and $15 if we are stood up for a home appointment. $39/h for continuing ed, $56 for an IDT. Amazing rates, IMO. I live in WA but just moved from PA.

Per diem rates (I am a psych nurse but pick up cases as I am able to!)
SOC - 95
RV - 65
ROC - 75
nurses in our agency are typically salaried and expected to see 30 patients a week (one weekend a month).

Mid to high 20's per hour. Depends on agency and experience. Low 30's if you have been with agency a looong time.

Greater Sacramento, CA area, 2 agencies worked for: SOC = $120, RV = $60. Mileage I believe was something like $.55 per mile for the SHORTEST route (not the most efficient), $25 per hour for mandatory meetings/in-services and something like $30 per month phone reimbursement. NO reimbursement for visit preparation, the limitless phone calls, case managing LVN's, the endless negotiations for appointment times with clients/families and route planning, documentation not done in the home and ordering supplies for drop shipping.

this is essentially why I went per diem and only pick up cases as I feel like it!
I loved many aspects of homecare, but the amount of working I did off the clock always made me crazy!
