I know some of you use some of these.

I am going to purchase a ipod touch to use for work and am trying to figure out which programs to buy.

I have used the free epocrates and will continue to use that.

Any recommendations?

The pepid for primary care has a lot of stuff with it, but i have never used it before.

I will be doing primary/urgent care (basically urgent care)

What device are you all using? I have a palm centro b/c I was told palms are much better than balckberry and I can't afford a treo. I'm not loving my centro. If I go w/ blackberry, will this stuff work? A few of the programs I applied to require a pda, but htey don't recommend one in particular. Thanks for your input.

i just bought an ipod touch. you can't put all programs on there, but skyscape does have some on there. and i think epocrates. i just got it so don't have it all figured out yet.

i also have a palm centro which i like as a phone and have epocrates free version on it as well, but can't seem to put too many programs on it or it crashes, hence why i got the ipod touch.

I have the new iPhone - I'm so happy with it! It has streamlined my life so much. I have the epocrates app on it (not the full version) and can access pepid through the web browser (very easily!). My understanding is that Pepid will be introducing a native version for iPhone and iPod Touch soon. Some of the other posters have mentioned that their phones crash or freeze up...I haven't had this problem ever (yet!) :) Couldn't be happier with my iPhone!

I am thinking about getting the new Treo Pro 3G or the iPhone 3G. If I go with iPhone, I will have to switch carriers and I'm not too thrilled to be going to AT&T. The Treo Pro is unlocked and can be used on any network. For practice applications (epocrates, pepid, etc), any thoughts on which is preferred. I know with iPhone that you have to be able to connect to the internet to get most applications, but, other than this, are there other pros/cons?

- itouch is also an option.. no phone plan required.. you can access apps via wifi or while connected to your computer.

I know some people have to take into consideration not being allowed to carry a phone - where as the ipod touch is a possible solution.. and so far it's awesome!
