Hi, I just need a pep talk. I did not get into any RN programs for my fifth round of applications. I'm bummed...
I'm still waiting on one LVN program so I'm trying to stay positive!!! Thanks! :heartbeat

You have applied five times and haven't gotten in? What kind of things are the people looking at the applications looking for? Try volunteering, getting your CNA (if you don't already), and things like that. Those might bump you up. Or maybe re-take the NET for a higher score? I'm not sure if that makes a difference, just a suggestion.
Don't give up! If you really want to be a nurse, you will get there. You will find a way, even if it means moving somewhere else to go to school :)

Do not give up, I also have been trying for awhile. Like Azcna posted check to see what can boost your over all application. Keep your head up, your struggles will be worth it one day.

Maybe its your GPA? It may help to take some classes over & get better grades in them (if thats the problem). Dont give up! I just got a book from the library & its called "The Ultimate Guide to Getting into Nursing School". http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Guide-Getting-Nursing-School/dp/0071477802 Maybe its a worth checking out. Good luck :)
