Considering relocation to Pensacola. I am an RN have been working telemetry for 3 years. Any info on pay rates for hospital rates staff and per diem rates. What are nursing home home health or agency making? What are the shift differentials for eves and nights? Any other info on the area would be great. Can I expect to make $26/hr or is that an unreasonable figure?

Hey there! I haven't forgotten about you. I was sick with Salmonella poisoning last week :( AWFUL! I also started my BSN program last week. So sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I will have some time this weekend to look up those apts for you. Hope you're doing well!

I hope you are feeling better.Getting sick and starting back to school on top of work = no fun! When I looked at the websites Magnolia Crossings and Arbours at Ensley are income restricted apartments, so they are no good. Which is funny cause they looked like one of the nicer ones based on pictures.

I live in Navarre, which is about 35 miles East of Pensacola, and we spend lots of time there as it's our nearest largest city. (we also go to Pensacola State) I don't know much about the areas you are looking at but do know that North Davis and Olive Rd are in the northern most part of Pensacola and nearest to West FL Hospital. And are decent areas.

I would suggest to you the same as I suggested to my kids in Orlando when they were looking for new apartments. Get ahold of the Pensacola Police Dept and Escambia County Sheriff Dept to inquire about crime reports in those particular areas you are looking in.

Also keep in mind that the Pensacola Airport is going to generate noise.....most likely more than the Navy Base. Good luck in your search! :D

I am hoping to move sometime between Nov and March. Currently in PA. A girl I worked with up here moved to Pensacola and got a job at Sacred Heart very quickly her SO is stationed at the Navy base there. I have a list of apts that from my internet research seem to met my criteria pet friendly- pool washer -dryer connections. I have an 11 9 and 18 year old so ok areas for them. I would love to know which ones are safe and which ones sell crack in the parking lot :rolleyes: Any info on any of these would be great!
