Nursing Students General Students

Is anybody here attending this school? If so, how is the program? I'm attending PJC right now doing my pre-reqs and I'm hoping to get in the program by next spring.

What is the class schedule like? Do you think it's possible to work and have kids and do this program at the same time? I'm thinking I will probably have to quit my job to focus on school full time.

Thanks!

Kayty

I think you should try to get as many out of the way as possible. I've heard from many that it's extremely demanding just with the nursing classes much less having to worry about taking the other classes. I still have to take nutrition and will be taking it the first semester of the program, but I've gotten everything else out of the way.

Kayty2339,

Thank you for the advice, I have been thinking that as well! My job right now, does not allow us take classes in the Spring, so I will have to try and take at least two of them (prob. A & P 2, and Nutrition) this summer. That is kinda of scary because summer classes are so short, so I know it will be a crammed semester. Then maybe I can take Micro, my first semester, if I get in for the fall! Congrats, by the way, please let me know how everything goes! I love to know what your feelings are on the program. I hear so many mixed thoughts on it.
