I'm looking at some procedure revisions- trying to bring things up to date. Would appreciate your input.
Do any of you see Penrose drains used anymore? Are they obsolete? I see only Jackson Pratt and J-vac/ hemovacs used in my area.
:)
Many thanks!!

I've never had to advance a penrose, boggle. Usually used for cervical or oral sx here. Actually I do prefer the bulb type, JP's, way less messy....

When I was on tele, we had them. But as a newby I used to use them as tourniquets whenever I had to start iv's.
