Villanova University BSN Express May 2018 Cohort

Hey Everyone!

I'm planning on applying for the BSN Express program at Villanova University starting in May of 2018! Is there anyone else applying? I have heard a ton of good things about the nursing programs at Villanova and would like to see where other people are at in their application process.

I'm not from the Philadelphia area, but would love some insight! I am originally from Minnesota but am looking to branch out so anything helps.

I have submitted my BSN Express application. The only thing left for me is the interview and I have scheduled for Monday. I am nervous what they might ask. I looked at prior posts on this program (from 2015-2016) and many say the interview is more like a conversation than an actual interview.

I would also love to know if anyone else is applying to this program!

I also have everything in and my interview is scheduled for this coming Tuesday! Good luck with yours! I also read that the interview is used to get to know you better and to provide more information regarding the program. Let me know how yours goes!

Also do you mind sharing your stats? I will be graduating with my B.S. in Psychology in December. My cumulative GPA is 3.48 and prerequisite is 3.60 with theology and a Chemistry lab still to complete this coming fall.

Hi all! First time commenting here. I had my interview and it was so casual- they really just want to get to know YOU and understand what brings you to nursing. I'm finishing some summer classes so I do have pre-reqs outstanding but they were not concerned at all. Best of luck!

I had my interview as well, like you said, mine was very casual as well. Now all we gotta do is wait!

Has anyone heard anything about decisions? What other schools are you all applying to?

I called today and they told me my status and that they met on Friday. They said they are sending out official letters for people that interviewed so far by the end of this week :) yay!

Awesome! It's going to be a long next couple of days then! Did they say if they're sending out the letters via email or regular mail?

Did your status change on the application site? I interviewed almost 2 weeks ago and my status still says under review. Hoping to hear back soon!

My application still says under review, I interviewed about 3 weeks ago! Has anyone's status changed?

My status didn't change yet either. She said she was sending out notifications by the end of the week and I'm pretty sure she meant by mail.

My status is still the same under review. But I received an email stating that I got into the program. It also said that I will get a mailed letter as well.
