This is not a direct reply to your question but your question did make me think about something. I had a bunch of friends that worked at Divine Providence on North Side that ended up working there(Mercy) AND several friends who worked at South Side Hospital that ended up working there. This happened in both cases as result of big absorbing little. I haven't talked to any of them in a long while, wonder how things are going for them.
