Since I don't see not one thread about this campus I figured that I would be the first :)

Okay so I am currently a student at Lincoln Technical Institute at the Philadelphia Campus located in Center City and this is the worst school that I have ever been to. The people that go here are loud, ghetto, I do not see how a lot of people got into the program, there have been many arguements and fights, and even the people that are in their 30's act very immature. I understand that things are subject to change HOWEVER, this school is very disorganized, don't have any set standards whatsoever, they let many students get away with so much, the school only care about their money, many (not all) of the teachers don't care about their students, some single people out, are very unprofessional and disrespectful, and try and set certain classes/people up. The school is to easy, hasn't been challenging, all of my Pharm quizzes/exams are take home so I am not really studying, the reason that a lot of people are passing is because of extra credit and being able to retake the same failed exam over, etc. This school is not worth $27,000 and I wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy, better yet, my pet dog to even consider this school. I really feel like I haven't learned anything, I feel like I should have just gotten the N-Clex book, studied it, and took the boards. The only reason that I didn't drop this program, is because (1) I have 9 months left (2) I have worked hard for all of my A's and 1 B, and (3) I carry a picture of my children with me everyday to school to motivate me.

The only good thing about this school is that it's very clean, a nice size, and the campus is nice.

*Claps* for you dedication in choosing to stick it out. Sounds awful but here is how you can overcome some of that stress. Everything you learn go home and find a youtube video about it (there are tons), make sure you obtain a great study guide for the nclex, and if you decide to join a study group do it with the people in class that stay far away from drama. After it is all said and done continue to go for your RN. You will hear all the noise about your school not being accredited but when you become an lpn you will be able to find an lpn-rn program online. I wish you the best!!!

Thanxs girl and that is my plan. I already have 2 associate degrees one in Psychology and the Other in Science for Health Professions, I have all of my prerequs for a BSN program the day that I pass my boards, I am doing my BSN online at either Excelsior or Indiana University and Im not worried about the school being accredited or not, the only thing that matters is my license :)
