I was curious when it comes to applying, there are only really 3 classes required to apply correct?

A&P

GEN PSYCHOLOGY

the gen ed can be done while in the program or waiting to get in, is that right?

Anyone know if at any point in the program, are we able to test to be an LPN while in school to be an RN, is that possible?

Also, has anyone done the nights/weekends program? What hours were you in class/doing clinicals?

The only points now are based on GPA and if you have kicro from what I gathered, is that still accurate as well?

Thank you!!

I am actually surprised by this. I thought Saint Lukes would only have their students. I am also surprised that medical terminology isn't a pre-req for this program. I have warned my hubby that my schedule is most likely going to become very hectic!!! Its all good. Thanks for the information! It is much appreciated!

Hi everyone! Congrats to those that got accepted into the program! I am going to apply for the Spring 2018 semester this August and I'm pretty anxious. What was your total number of ranking points? Do they count your micro grade in your pre-req gpa?

Thank you!

Hello everyone I'm new on this website, I hope I'm asking my question in the right place haha. I just took my teas test today and barely got the score I needed, I got 61.3%. I know the requirement is 60%, but will my low score affect getting accepted?

I am planning on applying in August so I can hopefully get accepted and start in January. Also I have all of my pre-requisites completed except for Microbiology, I know having Microbiology completed gives you 1 point. I'm taking it this fall so I'd have it done in time for the program, just not in time for applying.

Is there anyway I can write a paper and put it in with my application? Saying why I want to be a nurse, I have my CNA, and I'll have Micro done before the program starts.

Hello. I am preparing to apply for PV's spring 2019 semester in August 2018. I was just curious if anyone knew how many points were possible for the program? Or how many points did you have when you were accepted to the program? How many of you got into the program on your first try?

Hi Alesha!

When I applied in January, there were 5 points possible: 4 points depending on your GPA for the pre-requisites, and 1 point for having Microbiology completed. I had 4.75 points out of 5 and got accepted. Good luck to you!

Hi, what was your GPA?
