I was curious when it comes to applying, there are only really 3 classes required to apply correct?
BIO
A&P
GEN PSYCHOLOGY
the gen ed can be done while in the program or waiting to get in, is that right?
Anyone know if at any point in the program, are we able to test to be an LPN while in school to be an RN, is that possible?
Also, has anyone done the nights/weekends program? What hours were you in class/doing clinicals?
The only points now are based on GPA and if you have kicro from what I gathered, is that still accurate as well?
Thank you!!
Hello everyone I'm new on this website, I hope I'm asking my question in the right place haha. I just took my teas test today and barely got the score I needed, I got 61.3%. I know the requirement is 60%, but will my low score affect getting accepted?
I am planning on applying in August so I can hopefully get accepted and start in January. Also I have all of my pre-requisites completed except for Microbiology, I know having Microbiology completed gives you 1 point. I'm taking it this fall so I'd have it done in time for the program, just not in time for applying.
Is there anyway I can write a paper and put it in with my application? Saying why I want to be a nurse, I have my CNA, and I'll have Micro done before the program starts.

I am actually surprised by this. I thought Saint Lukes would only have their students. I am also surprised that medical terminology isn't a pre-req for this program. I have warned my hubby that my schedule is most likely going to become very hectic!!! Its all good. Thanks for the information! It is much appreciated!
