Are there any other students that are planning to commute from State College to Altoona? Or any past students that have advice as to whether commuting or relocating is the best option? Thanks guys!!

Just wanted to say, I'm from Altoona originally, live in Indiana now. I think as long as you can get over the mountain fine in the winter, it's really not a long commute. 45 minutes or so which isn't bad. I live in rural Indiana and to go anywhere out here you commute. I drive to the south side of Indy all the time and I have a 25 minute commute to school everyday. I assume you would come down 99 correct? Since building that interstate, it's not bad at all. I would worry though having to go over the mountain.

The Altoona campus is beautiful and it has an excellent reputation for schooling.

I'm currently a senior at Penn State majoring in BBH, but I would love carpooling! Do you live in State College or are you a student?

Oh that's great news :) I think carpooling will make the commute a whole lot easier.. I was a BBH major as well! I graduated a few years ago but still living in the area. Would you want to meet up for coffee or something?

Hey everyone! I will be commuting from Lewistown area and may sometimes go through State College. I was a BBH major as well! I graduated in 2011 though. Did anyone receive their packets in the mail yet?

Hi guys! I was accepted as well but still have not received my packet ... I am graduating this year from UP, but I am originally from Altoona. The commute is not too bad but may get old everyday. It takes me about 40 minutes to get from UP to Altoona.

That's awesome, BBH is such a good foundation!! I also graduated in December 2011 :) I'm excited that we are all able to connect prior to beginning the program. I have yet to receive my packet as well, but I'm hoping we get it soon.. I'm anxious to know what to expect in the way of scheduling classes, etc.
