Found this online and it really sounds like something I'd be interested in. It does cost a lot but I have some years still left to raise money. Has anybody attended? If not, do you think it'd be good to do prior to becoming a CNA? Thanks!
I looked up the program and to me it looks more like something for high school juniors and seniors who are thinking about pursuing nursing as a career. From the information they provide, I don't see how much would actually apply to being a CNA.
Sorry, phrased that badly. I want to be a nurse but am not old enough to CNA so I was curious if y'all thought this would be good experience for me, so that I could do something nursing related before becoming a CNA. Sorry about that!
If that is the case then it does sound like a good program to give you some insight about the different fields of nursing and also some clinical time shadowing a nurse.
Specializes in Vents, Telemetry, Home Care, Home infusion.
penn nursing summer institute is a program of julian krinsky camps-- he started out as summer tennis camp for wealthy families (julian was tennis coach @ location where i was summer camp rn). cost of 4 week camp is $6,175. if one can afford this, it would be a wonderful oportunity.
