Penn Foster Information Literacy?

Nursing Students Online Learning

Does anyone know if Excelsior is still taking this as a transfer credit? I have a request in to take the class, but haven't heard back from Excelsior yet. I really just want to sign up for the class and get it over with this week, but I hesitate to do that without official approval. Is it pretty safe to sign up? This is my last requirement and I will be able to graduate July 16! If I don't finish it this month, will it mess me up for graduation in July? I just want to get er done!

Hi all, just checking in to let you guys know that I just completed Info Lit through Penn Foster; possibly the easiest credit I've ever earned. I literally took me all day but I'm glad to have it behind me.

i just did the penn foster class a month or so ago. called the 1-800 number, paid the money and had log in info about 2 days later. took me about 2 hours to finish the assignments, earned an "a". was the easiest grade i ever got! you have to call them back when you're done and pay $10 to have your transcript sent over to the ec office, but all went smooth for me! congrats on graduation!!

julesrn10,

to make sure i understood correctly.....

you were a student of excelsior college (ec) and needed the information literacy course...instead of taking this course at ec you took it at penn foster?

did you have to go through the admission porcess and become a student at penn foster or did they allow to simple to simply pay for the course, you took it, then paid for your transcript to be sent to ec?

i am asking because this course is now $355 at ec and if i can save money...i am all for it.

thanks,

lee
