Peds Play Project

Does anyone have any ideas of a play item I can create out of medical items for children. Such as something out of tongue depressors, gloves.. anything I can get at a hospital.

I don't want to do the puppet out of a glove I want a more original idea.

    Pre-school or Kindergarten age. Some in the past have made puppets out of gloves, or stick figures out of Tongue depressors. I was trying to think of something different.

    You could make a stuffed doll out of a no-slip sock :)

    Or a dress up set...a dress out of a pillowcase and a necklace out of medicine bottle caps.

    Or you could paint a cafeteria tray with chalkboard paint and make a drawing board thingy. The trays are kind of slick though, so not sure how that would work, but you could still turn it into some sort of art thing.

    Or (and this would probably be my choice) you could make a tornado in a specimen cup.
