I have been working in a Pediatric ER for the last three years and have loved every minute of it. I am getting an itch to try the adult world and eventually want to teach, so I am thinking adults could be a great experience. Any advice for what to expect or how to best prepare myself? Thanks :)

Far more tantrums, far more demanding, picture a lot of the parents of your kids, but now as your patients.

You're much more likely to get hit, bit, spit, and fits with the grups than with the pups.

I've never met a soul who switched from peds to adults unless they were changing hospitals; everybody looks to go the other direction.
