Hi all, I took NCLEX today after doing 2000 practice Kaplan questions. I walked out and felt terrible as if I failed. There was so much material and I only got 75 questions. I walked out and cried because I was hoping I could prove my competence with more than 75 questions. Most of the questions were based on what I learned not what was on Kaplan Questions. Anyway I came home and did the trick. It gave me the majic pop up saying " you recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for assistance. I'm relieved but still scared because its unofficial. Can anyone relate to this? Please send your experiences.
Hey guys. Just to let you all know that, I just found out last night that I passed. The PVT definitely worksGood luck you all

I think I actually studied too much. I did Kaplan and completed the Qbank questions (1300 ) of them. And u know what I used the Saunders book for my content. That really helped because, I am someone who understands best by reading well explained literature. So in all, I used Saunders for studying content and Kaplan for the Questions.
My exam was mostly "Management of care", delegation, 3 math problems, about 3 drag items. I had no OB, no Peds, no diagrams, and very few questions pertaining to Medsurg like how to use IS, wound dressing change ect. Had tons of select all that apply. And frankly when I walked out I thought I had failed. Also, I had just 4 meds; at least I knew them.
I would encourage u use both Saunders and maybe Kaplan for the questions. The questions on Kaplan help u familiarize with questions that are Nclex- type. Good luck in ur exams
