Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I'm not trying to be discouraging to those of us who are waiting to find out...but I don't believe in false hope either. So, tomorrow - when I pay to view my early results - if I fail I'm gonna let y'all know that the trick is no treat and if I pass - I'll post that and eat a little crow.

Hey wildlaurel, hungry? Eating crow yet??? Ha ha :lol2: It's not false hope--it being cautiously optimistic!

I can confirm the trick works. I had taken my NCLEX on June 30th and today when I woke up I just the board of nursing for my state and found out that I Passed!!! I got the pop up everytime I tried it over the last 2 days after delivery successful was posted.

Okay...I was a skeptic, I took the NCLEX in 75 questions Tuesday and was sure I failed and that the trick was urban myth...

But, I kept checking Pearson over and over trying to re-register and I got the pop-up screen...and I checked my results today and I PASSED!! I cried I was so happy!!

Congrats to you!!!! That is wonderful news....I have some crow dinner for you to celebrate =) LMAO!!! Congrats to you though...that is awesome news!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to explain the steps thoroughly. I took the NCLEX-RN on July 1st in Pa. I've done the trick several times and keep getting that same message. The computer stopped at 75 questions but I felted unsure of myself. I haven't been able to sleep but I hope it works for me. I will update when I get my license number.

So the pop up screen that everyone is talking about is the one that says u are unable to re-register and to call pearsonve... I got 251 q's and tried the trick and it wouldn't let me go on.... Praying its true!!!!

Yep, that's the same screen that I keep getting. I'm not sure where you live but if you applied for you license in Pa you can go to there website and verify your license. This will save you $8. Just Google pa state board of nsg.

Okay,

I followed this thread for DAYS, and I too, got the pop up. I could not stand it any more, so this morning when it said I was able to view my 'quick results', I happily entered my CC and then closed my eyes and waited. Then I slowly started to open my eyes, and POOF! Four little letters sat there looking at me

PASS

Whew!

I can see where some may be skeptical about the 'trick', as it would stand to reason that if Pearson is receiving money to tell us "unofficial" results, they would do something to make the 'trick' not work, because if that information got out, they would miss out on a lot of income.

Anyhow... thanks for keeping me sane over the last few days. I felt sick when I left the testing center after 75 questions, did the 'trick' and never got to the CC screen, and then I felt a LOT better. Now that I have the unofficial results, I feel GREAT! Woo Hooo.

(now I just need a JOB) LOL :nurse:
