California is painstakingly taking their time. It's been a 1 whole week since I took my exam. Keeping my fingers crossed.

@BSN1986 did you take your NCLEX here in California? If so, have you gotten your result yet?

Yes, I'm in Cali. Took my test on the 15th of August. Still nothing official from the board. I am hopefully only off of the Pearson Vue Trick ? I'll update as soon as I hear anything.

Hello from California,

I just wanted to add in regards to the new pvt trick that just started a few days ago. So I took my NCLEX-RN on august 28th (2 days ago) at 2 pm and let me tell you guys this seemed like the most brutal exam I have taken in my life. Im in this nursing program called ELMSN (not that it matters for this topic) and I finished nursing school on august of 2013. I took my first NCLEX around November 2013 and unfortunately failed with 265 questions. My second time was on March of 2014 and, unfortunately, again I failed with 265 questions. I was so mad because I "barely" passed all categories and yet according to the BRN/Pearson that means failing still. So anyways just two days ago I took it again fearing that I was going to fail again because it just shut off on me out of nowhere around 76. I was tripping out so my fiancee checked to see if the pearson vue trick really worked. I began to keep my cool once she started the registration process again. Now, we went through all the steps mentioned previously until it took us to the credit card page where we have to actually input credit card information and hit submit (the old pvt used to be that the good pop up prevented students getting to the credit card information and let me tell you guys that the two first times I failed I checked using the old pvt and it took me straight to the credit card information).

So, once she hit the submit button to see if pearson would take our 200 dollars, I ended up getting the good pop up (exclamation mark triangle saying that records indicate blah blah blah) and I was feeling more relieved, eventhough this new trick is not as credible than the old trick being that pearson adjusted their website. We checked the new pvt 45 minutes after I finished my exam.

Anyways, to conclude it is now august 30th (2 days) and I checked the California license verification and my name just popped up... Im officially and RN!!!! Man I've been waiting for this moment and its a blessing.

For those that are having doubt about the new pvt to see if it works, well it worked for me and those who have been posting in this thread so far. I just want to let you know to keep having faith and keep believing in yourselves. Eventually, we all pass if we keep on going.

Keep in mind that it might take alittle longer than 2 days to see if you officially passed but don't worry and get all anxious, just know that the new pvt trick is currently working as I am one of those who tried it and I passed. Have a Great one!!! Keep your heads up :)

I've been reading about this new PVT trick. However, after entering my CC info, I did not get "the good popup." I was really thinking that I failed and was down for 48 hours. This morning though, I did my quick results with the words "PASS." I couldn't believe it. I am now an RN! For those who did not get the popup, do not lose hope!

Good thing you passed! Congrats ? when the "good pop up" does not appear it has been the only time I've read of the "trick" not working. As you've mentioned, there is definitely hope and it's not over until the official results are in.

I did the PVT before and after. My "good pop up" remained even after the update.
